El rol del tiempo de tratamiento en estimulaci\u00f3n del crecimiento mandibular realizado por aparatos removibles y fijos ser\u00e1n ilustrados a trav\u00e9s de meta an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Una variedad de opciones de tratamientos est\u00e1n disponibles para las correcciones de clase II, en pacientes en crecimiento. Comparaciones de efectos dento-esqueletales producidos por diferentes tipos de correctores de clase II removibles y fijos ser\u00e1n mostrados <em>(Forsus versus Twin Block). <\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e1 revisado el resultado de recientes estudios en los efectos dento-esqueletales producidos por el aparato de Carriere y aparatos Herbst en clases II puberales usando im\u00e1genes 3D.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los problemas en Clases II, son frecuentemente asociados a deficiencia transversal del maxilar superior. El tiempo \u00f3ptimo de correcci\u00f3n transversal con expansi\u00f3n r\u00e1pida maxilar (RME), es durante la fase prepuberal. En Clases II, es esperable un mejoramiento espont\u00e1neo durante el periodo de retenci\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de la RME.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Aparte del tiempo de tratamiento, la respuesta individual del paciente deber\u00eda considerarse para identificar a un buen o mal candidato FJO (ortopedia funcional de la mand\u00edbula). En este aspecto, el rol de la morfolog\u00eda mandibular Vs. Posici\u00f3n vertical mandibular ser\u00e1 discutida. Quienes responden bien a la ortopedia funcional de la mand\u00edbula en Clases II asociada a retrusi\u00f3n mandibular se caracteriza por un \u00e1ngulo mandibular peque\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Se analizar\u00e1n los resultados de los \u00faltimos estudios de largo tiempo de estabilidad de los efectos producidos por la ortopedia funcional mandibular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Los tratamientos de maloclusi\u00f3n Clase III, es uno de los m\u00e1s grandes desaf\u00edos para el ortodoncista. Este curso se enfocar\u00e1 en aquellos factores que puedan ayudar al cl\u00ednico a mejorar la eficacia de los tratamientos tempranos de las Clases III con expansi\u00f3n r\u00e1pida maxilar y uso de m\u00e1scara facial (RME\/FM).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Se discutir\u00e1, el rol del tiempo de tratamiento y de la respuesta individual a largo tiempo despu\u00e9s del uso de (RME\/FM). El resultado de un reciente estudio para identificar el pron\u00f3stico de las caracter\u00edsticas craneofaciales para predecir el \u00e9xito o fracaso a largo plazo con la terapia (RME\/FM). Durante el curso se discutir\u00e1 la estabilidad a largo plazo de la terapia (RME\/FM) con especial atenci\u00f3n a los cambios morfol\u00f3gicos que se pueden obtener en la mand\u00edbula.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, los nuevos conocimientos de los tratamientos Clases III usando en forma alternada expansi\u00f3n y constricci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida maxilar (Alt-Ramec protocol) y anclaje esqueletal (BAMP protocol and Hybrid Hyrax con m\u00e1scara facial), esto se discutir\u00e1 a trav\u00e9s de estudios cl\u00ednicos y meta analisis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;15px&#8221;][vc_separator type=&#8221;normal&#8221; color=&#8221;#fa9f00&#8243;][vc_empty_space]<div class='q_list circle animate_list'><\/p>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>The course will analyze patient-related factors that can help the clinician to improve the efficacy of functional jaw orthopedics (FJO) independently from the type of appliance. Two such factors are timing of treatment and individual patient responsiveness. The role of treatment timing on mandibular growth stimulation produced by both removable and\u00a0fixed functional appliances will be illustrated through meta analyses.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nA variety of treatment options are available for Class II correction in the growing patient. Comparisons of the dento-skeletal effects produced by different types of removable and fixed Class II correctors will be shown (Forsus versus Twin Block). The results of recent studies on the dentoskeletal effects produced by the Carriere appliance and the Herbst appliance in pubertal Class II patients using 3D imaging also will be reviewed.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nClass II problems are frequently associated with maxillary transverse deficiency. The optimal timing for the correction of transverse problems with rapid maxillary expansion (RME) is during the prepubertal phases of development. In Class II patients a spontaneous improvement of the Class II relationships during the retention period following RME can be expected.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nBesides treatment timing, individual patient responsiveness should be considered to identify either good or poor candidates to FJO. In this respect, the role of mandibular morphology versus mandibular vertical position will be discussed. Good responders to FJO for the treatment of Class II malocclusion associated with mandibular retrusion are characterized by a small mandibular angle.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nFinally, the results of recent studies on the long-term stability of the effects produced by FJO will be analyzed.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nTreatment of Class III malocclusion is one of the greatest challenges for the practicing orthodontist.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\nThis course will focus on those factors that can help the clinician to improve the long-term efficacy of early Class III treatment with rapid maxillary expansion and facemask (RME\/FM). In particular, the role of treatment timing and of individual patient responsiveness on the long-term outcomes of RME\/FM will be discussed. The results of a recent study on the identification of pre-treatment prognostic craniofacial features for the prediction of successful or unsuccessful long-term outcomes of RME\/FM therapy also will be illustrated. During the course the long-term stability of RME\/FM therapy will be discussed with special attention to the favorable morphological modifications that can be obtained at the mandibular level. Finally, the new approaches to Class III treatment using the alternation of rapid maxillary expansion and constriction (Alt-Ramec protocol) and skeletal anchorage (BAMP protocol and Hybrid Hyrax with facial mask) will be discussed <\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>through a series of clinical studies and meta analyses\u00a0<\/em><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;
