Audrey Yoon, es ortodoncista de doble formaci\u00f3n y odonto-pediatra, especialista en medicina del sue\u00f1o y est\u00e9tica.\u00a0La doctora ha creado la <em>World Dentofacial Sleep Society<\/em> de la cual es presidenta fundadora.<\/li>\n<li>Diplomada del <em>American Board of Dental Sleep<\/em> Medicine del<em> American Board of Orthodontics.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Realiz\u00f3 sus residencias de ortodoncia y odontolog\u00eda pedi\u00e1trica en la Universidad de California en Los \u00c1ngeles (UCLA).<\/li>\n<li>Tambi\u00e9n obtuvo su doctorado de Cirug\u00eda Dental y un M\u00e1ster en Ciencias, completando as\u00ed una extensa investigaci\u00f3n en Apnea Obstructiva del Sue\u00f1o (OSA) en la UCLA.Es directora del programa de Medicina del Sue\u00f1o en la Universidad del Pac\u00edfico, y es profesora adjunta del Centro de Medicina del Sue\u00f1o de Stanford, profesora honoraria de Ortodoncia en la Universidad de Hong Kong, y profesora adjunta de Ortodoncia en la Universidad del Pac\u00edfico, y cl\u00ednica asociada en la Facultad de Medicina Dental de la Universidad de TUFTS.<\/li>\n<li>Tambi\u00e9n es codirectora del programa de Mini-Residencia del Sue\u00f1o Dental Pedi\u00e1trico de la Universidad de TUFTS.<\/li>\n<li>La doctora practica todo el \u00e1mbito de la ortodoncia quir\u00fargica y no quir\u00fargica desde la poblaci\u00f3n pedi\u00e1trica a geri\u00e1trica para el manejo de las v\u00edas respiratorias, incluyendo la modificaci\u00f3n del crecimiento, expansi\u00f3n palatina pedi\u00e1trica, expansi\u00f3n palatina r\u00e1pida asistida por mini-tornillos (MARPE), expansi\u00f3n maxilar por distracci\u00f3n ontogen\u00e9tica (DOME), tratamiento de ortod\u00f3ncico para el avance maxilomandibular (MMA), terapia de alineadores transparentes y aparatos orales para la apnea del sue\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<li>La Dra. She has established World Dentofacial Sleep Society and serves as a founding president. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>She completed her orthodontic and pediatric dentistry residencies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). <\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>She also earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree, completing extensive research in Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) at UCLA. <\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>She is program director of Pacific Ortho-Dental Sleep Medicine Fellowship at University of Pacific, an adjunct assistant professor at Stanford Sleep Medicine Center at Stanford University, an honorary assistant professor of Orthodontics at the University of Hong Kong, an adjunct assistant professor in Orthodontics at the University of Pacific, and a clinical associate faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em> She is also a co-director of the Pediatric Dental Sleep Mini-residency program at Tufts University.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>She practices the full scope of non-surgical and surgical orthodontics from pediatric to geriatric population for airway management including growth modification, pediatric palatal expansion, customized Miniscrew-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion (MARPE), Distraction Osteogenesis Maxillary Expansion (DOME), Orthodontic treatment for Maxillomandibular Advancement ( MMA ), clear aligner therapy and oral appliances for sleep apnea.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>She has introduced a pioneering technique, performing maxillary distraction osteogenesis for the treatment of OSA, and has co-authored chapters on this subject in several leading textbooks.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;
